Overview of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Standards
Speaker will provide a brief history of the development of the ISO14001 standard and address the key elements and structure of an environmental management system based upon the standard today. In addition, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 elements will be compared and an integrated management system approach will be presented.

Justifications and Benefits Realized from ISO/OHSAS Certification
Speaker will provide opinion, supported by actual case examples, of the benefits derived from ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Standards compliance. Will focus on value added through improvements to, and elevated compliance with, the AODAT HSEC Management System, driven by ISO and OHSAS certifications and the rigor, discipline and detail mandated by both.

NASA EMS System Presentation
The speaker will provide a presentation on the implementation JSC's Environmental Management System as required of all federal agencies by Executive Order. Topics discussed will include a comparison with ISO 14001:2004 requirements, integration with JSC's ISO 9001 Quality Management System, challenges to implementation across a large and diverse organization, system performance including meeting objectives and targets, and other realized benefits.

During this presentation, the speaker will explain the relationship between the Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Management System (HSSE MS) and the HSE Case. The definition and the contents of an HSE Case and the process to maintain a HSSE Case will be discussed.
