"Fundamentals of Biosafety"
Susanne is a Registered Biosafety Professional (RBP), a designation of the American Biological Safety Association. She will present a comprehensive primer on Biosafety. The presentation will include background information on biological hazards and the principles of biosafety. Engineering controls, PPE, and related topics will be covered.

"Overview of IH/IAQ Monitoring for Biosafety"
This presentation will include an overview of the identification common IAQ biocontaminants. Instrumentation and strategies used to conduct assessments will be covered. The challenge of interpreting results in the absence of regulatory standards will also be discussed.

"Overview of the New State of Texas Mold Rules and Regulations"
This presentation is "must-see GHIHC" for those individuals who conduct any mold related activities in the State of Texas. Dr. Pinney will provide a comprehensive overview of the Texas Occupations Health Code Section 295.301 of Chapter 1958 of House Bill 329 as it relates to Mold Assessors and Remediators that conduct mold-related activities affecting IAQ.

"SAFESITE - A Chemical Detection System"
Diana will describe the operation and applications of the SAFESITE system. This system was designed to detect chemical warfare compounds such as nerve and blister agents that may be used in a terror attack. This newly developed technology was used at the Kentucky Derby and will be used at the Houston Freedom Fest, an Astros game and the 2005 Super Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida.
