What Your MSDS Needs To Travel Internationally

Existing domestic Material Safety Data Sheet have been written for compliance with OSHA Hazard Communication Standard and to include other information needed to comply with US EPA and US DOT requirements. The forthcoming adoption of the UN's Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals ("GHS") as well as the implementation of the Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals ("REACH") regulation in the European Union has created changes in the format and information for Safety Data Sheets to be used internationally.
