Lori has worked with the City of Houston Hospital Area Emergency Management Committee for over 8 years and is currently the Co-chair of the Regional Bioterrorism Task Force. She represents Texas Children's Hospital at the local, regional, state, and federal level. She will give an overview of statewide incident command activities associated with hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Hurricane Katrina Aftermath - EHS Support for News Agency Reporters
News coverage continues in the wake of a disaster. Many of us were riveted to the television coverage of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Chuck will present a narrative accompanied by photos that details the health and safety issues associated with the ABC News teams covering these stories.

Hurricane Relief Efforts - A National Guardsman's Perspective
Jenny will present an overview of the mission of her National Guard unit based out of Ellington Field. The unit was activated for Katrina relief efforts and was deployed to New Orleans to provide field support for medical services. Jenny's presentation will include a discussion of the health and safety issues they encountered during the performance of their duties.
